Adding a Pikmykid Contact/Delegate: Detailed Text Steps

  1. Click the "account" tab along the bottom of your app screen

  2. Click "manage contacts"

  3. Click the plus sign in the bottom right corner of the app screen to add a new contact manually or click "open my phonebook" along the top to import a contact from your phone contacts.

  4. Click Save after you confirm the fields are filled correctly for the contact.

  5. Once the contact is successfully created you will be prompted to add a photo to this contact's profile. We highly recommend doing this when possible since most schools are encouraging this for extra security during pick up for non guardians.

    • When choosing a photo be sure to follow the guidelines listed on the app screen. Remember, this photo is for identification & security so you should be able to clearly see the contact's face without sunglasses, face coverings, or additional people in the photo.

    • The app will automatically approve or deny the photo. If the photo is denied you can request a manual review if you feel the denial was a mistake and the photo does follow the guidelines.

  6. If you do not wish to add a photo you can select "not now" and return at a later time to edit the contact and upload a photo.

Manage Notifications Preferences

Log into the Pikmykid parent app. Select the "Account" tab from the bottom of your PikMyKid Parent app, then “Notifications Preferences”. Disable/enable notification preferences from the next screen. Don't forget to select “Save” to complete the changes.  Please remember that most schools will want parents to have their notifications turned on for security reasons.

Change the app’s Theme

1. Select the “Account” option at the bottom of your app

2. Click on “Theme Selection”

3. Tap on the preferred theme. The change will automatically reflect on the app
